Our skin accumulates impurities, such as sebum, dead skin and dirt, which can all clog our pores and cause pimple breakouts. To prevent this from happening, we should clean our skin at least twice a day.

However, many people forget to do this and, in response, their skin has blackhead outbreaks. Blackheads are small, raised bumps on our skin that appear black in color. They are caused by oil settling into our pores and oxidizing.

Baking Soda

Baking soda can be used as a natural exfoliator. The baking soda’s coarse texture can be used to remove any dead skin and impurities from your face.

Twice a week, mix some baking soda with water to form a paste. Use your fingers to gently rub it into your skin, leave it for a few minutes and then wash it off with some warm water.

Clay

Clay is oil-absorbent, meaning that it can be used to rid your face of any oils and impurities.

You can make yourself a clay face mask at home by using fuller’s earth and kaolin clay. When these face masks are applied regularly to the face, they will help clean out your pores. For optimal results, be sure to do this a couple of times a week for as long as possible. Eventually, it will get rid of blackheads and your face will appear smooth and healthy.

Steaming

Steaming your face will soften blackheads and eventually eliminate them.

When you steam your face, it makes the skin sweat. This cleans out toxins from inside and softens the pores, making it easier to remove blackheads.

Lemon, Salt And Honey

The acidic nature of the lemon will help eliminate grease, the coarse salt will act as a gentle exfoliator for your skin and the honey will leave your skin feeling moisturizer and soft.

Three times a week, make a paste with these three ingredients and apply them to your face. After five minutes, gently scrub your skin in circular motions and then leave the mask to sit for another five minutes. Use warm water to wash the paste from your face.

Egg White Mask

Egg whites are known for their skin tightening abilities. When applied to your face, the egg whites shrink your pores, which forces the blackheads out. They can also improve the texture of your skin and remove any excess oil and impurities.

Remove the egg yolk from the egg whites. You can soak tissue paper in the egg whites and apply that to your face or you could also use a brush to paint the egg whites directly onto your skin simply.

Tomato

Tomatoes are rich in vitamins A and C. They also have skin brightening and oil-absorbing qualities.

Apply tomato pulp to your face to clear out grease and impurities. Once the pulp dries, wash it off gently with warm water. You could also cut a few slices of tomato and rub them onto your blackhead infested areas.

Coconut Oil And Sugar Scrub

Coconut oil is very moisturizing and good for your skin and sugar can be used as a natural exfoliator. Mix the two together to form a cream and apply it to any areas on your body that have blackheads.

Green Tea

Green tea works as a natural antioxidant and can decrease your skin’s oil production

Mix together one part dry green tea leaves and one part warm water and massage it into any areas with blackheads. After about three minutes, rinse it off with warm water and apply some sort of cream to your skin. You can do this two to three times a week, depending on how bad your blackhead situation is.
